Abstract

Creating a visual identity is a very important way to build a physical brand. And one of the main elements in creating a visual identity is a logo. Brand identity is the elements that form the image or brand identity of a company, product or service in the eyes of consumers and in the industry. This brand identity includes various elements designed to communicate the brand message and differentiate the brand from its competitors. MSME Dhanusa Project is a small and medium enterprise engaged in the creative industry, especially in making String Art products, Macrame Bracelets, Knitted Bags, Knitted Wallets, Resin Necklaces. The meaning of the name Dhanusa Project itself is, "From the heart for the Archipelago" and is shortened to the name "Dhanusa" while "Project" itself means the design of an idea to be realized into action and real results. The Dhanusa Project UMKM has a problem, namely that there is no visual identity that presents the shop. This design aims to produce a visual identity that is able to present a handicraft shop. The design process implements 5 stages, namely data collection techniques through interviews, literature, questionnaires and observation. The creative concept in this design focuses on producing visuals that can reflect a handicraft shop. The design result is a visual identity with a minimalist and modern appearance which is arranged in GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) with several other media applications.
